Scheduled syncs run every working day between 07:00 and 19:00 UK time. Setup includes connecting your accounts, creating the HubSpot properties and checking the first sync with you.
How it connects
On-premises: OW Sync reaches your server through a fixed IP address in London, which you allow through your firewall.
What you need
An Interprise API key.
Good to know
- Opportunities sync weekly only, because Interprise can only filter them by creation date.
- Records deleted in Interprise are not yet removed from HubSpot.
- Nothing moves from HubSpot into Interprise on a schedule; changes go back through HubSpot workflow actions.
Questions
Fair questions
Can we write back to Interprise from HubSpot?
Yes, through HubSpot workflow actions. Every plan can create and update customers and contacts. Standard and Advanced add items, sales orders, line item edits, order cancellation and payments. Nothing is written to Interprise unless a workflow you build tells it to.
What do we need to connect?
An Interprise API key. Interprise deployments only accept known addresses, so OW Sync always reaches yours through a fixed IP address in London, which you allow through your firewall. The key is stored encrypted, and there is no token to renew.
Why do opportunities only sync weekly?
Interprise only lets OW Sync filter opportunities by the date they were created, not the date they last changed. To catch every update, each run re-reads all your opportunities. So the opportunity sync is fixed to weekly, while quotes, orders, invoices and the other records follow your normal sync schedule.
Does it create custom objects in HubSpot?
No. OW Sync uses HubSpot’s standard objects: companies, contacts, deals, orders, invoices, products and line items. It adds its own properties to them, all starting with owsync_, so they are easy to spot and your existing HubSpot set-up stays as it is.
How do we install the Interprise connector?
Choose Install on HubSpot, pick your HubSpot account and approve OW Sync’s access. OW Sync then asks for your contact and company details and takes you through connecting Interprise. Setup includes creating the HubSpot properties and checking the first sync with you.
When do syncs run?
Scheduled syncs run every working day between 07:00 and 19:00 UK time, as often as your plan allows. On Advanced, you can also switch on weekend syncs. Workflow actions run whenever your HubSpot workflow triggers them.
Who builds and supports OW Sync?
Cogent does. OW Sync is our own connector range, built and supported by our team in the UK. If you need more than the connector does out of the box, we can scope custom work or a full HubSpot project around it.
