Scheduled syncs run every working day between 07:00 and 19:00 UK time. Setup includes connecting your accounts, creating the HubSpot properties and checking the first sync with you.

A Barbour ABI username and password.
Good to know
- If the connection is not used for 30 days, the Barbour ABI login expires and you refresh it by hand in OW Sync.
- A single saved search or tag returns at most its first 10,000 records.
- Each run brings in up to 5,000 projects with their companies and people.
- Records deleted in Barbour ABI are not removed from HubSpot.
- One-way only: OW Sync reads from Barbour ABI and never writes back to it.

Can we choose which projects sync?
Yes. You pick a saved search or a tag from your Barbour ABI account, and OW Sync brings in the projects it returns, along with their companies and people. Exclusion rules let you leave out records that match conditions you set. Each run handles up to 5,000 projects.
Why would the connection need refreshing?
Barbour ABI’s login stays valid while it is used. If the connection sits idle for 30 days, Barbour ABI ends the session and OW Sync cannot sign in again by itself. You then refresh it by hand from the connection screen in OW Sync, and syncing carries on.
Can we write back to Barbour ABI from HubSpot?
No. Barbour ABI’s API is read-only, so the connector is one-way. OW Sync reads projects, companies and people from Barbour ABI and keeps them up to date in HubSpot. Your team works the leads in HubSpot, and nothing is sent back.
Does it create custom objects in HubSpot?
No. Projects land in HubSpot’s standard projects object by default, or in listings if you prefer. Companies and people go to HubSpot companies and contacts. OW Sync adds its own properties, all starting with owsync_, so they are easy to spot.
How do we install the Barbour ABI connector?
Choose Install on HubSpot, pick your HubSpot account and approve OW Sync’s access. OW Sync then asks for your contact and company details and takes you through connecting Barbour ABI. Setup includes creating the HubSpot properties and checking the first sync with you.
When do syncs run?
Scheduled syncs run every working day between 07:00 and 19:00 UK time, as often as your plan allows. On Advanced, you can also switch on weekend syncs. Workflow actions run whenever your HubSpot workflow triggers them.
